1 block cream cheese, at room temperature

Jalapeño peppers (as many as your heart desires)

The same number of bacon strips as peppers

1cup of cheddar cheese, shredded

3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/3 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/3 teaspoon garlic powder

1/7 teaspoon onion powder

(Measure spices with your heart)

Heat the oven to 400°F.

Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the jalapeños lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.

Shred 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese and combine with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Then combine the cheese mixture with your room temperature cream cheese.

Stuff the jalapeños with the mixture.

Wrap with bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Arrange the peppers cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the poppers for 25 to 30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the filling is melted and lightly browned.

Let the peppers cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
